The four DISC styles
DISC describes four behavioural styles. Most people use all four at different times, and one or two tend to come most naturally.
DominanceBold & Results-Driven
Direct, determined and results-focused. D styles like to take charge, cut through delays and make things happen. Others often see them as bold and confident, especially when quick decisions are needed.
InfluenceEnergetic & Social
I styles thrive on connection, energy and enthusiasm. They bring people together, keep things lively and fast-paced and often spark new ideas. Others see them as expressive, optimistic and engaging.
SteadinessCalm & Supportive
S styles bring steadiness, patience and a calm presence. They build trust and collaboration, which makes them a safe harbour for people to share how they feel. Others see them as loyal, dependable and approachable.
ConscientiousnessAnalytical & Precise
Analytical, systematic and quality-focused. C styles like to understand the details, think things through carefully and get things right. Others see them as logical, thorough and well prepared, especially when accuracy and depth matter.
What a quick test can and can’t tell you
Ten questions are enough to point to the style that comes most naturally to you at work. They can’t show the blend of styles most people have, or how your style changes under pressure.
That is what the full Everything DiSC® profile is for. It is a detailed online assessment published by Wiley, and Inner Leader is an Everything DiSC Authorised Partner. We use it with leadership teams and whole teams, so everyone can see their own style and how it fits with their colleagues’.

Is this the official DiSC assessment?
No. This is Inner Leader's own quick snapshot, based on the four DISC styles. The official Everything DiSC® assessment is published by Wiley and is far more detailed. Inner Leader is an Everything DiSC Authorised Partner and uses Everything DiSC with teams and leaders across the UK and internationally.
How accurate is a 10-question DISC test?
It is designed to point to the style that comes most naturally to you at work, which is why we call it your likely style. Most people have a blend of styles, and ten questions can't measure that blend. The full Everything DiSC profile can.
Is it free, and do I need to give my email?
The quiz is free. When you finish, we ask for your name and work email, then show you your result straight away, download your full PDF report and email you a copy.
What are the four DISC styles?
D is Dominance: bold, direct and results-driven. I is Influence: energetic, optimistic and people-focused. S is Steadiness: calm, supportive and dependable. C is Conscientiousness: analytical, thoughtful and precise.
Can my whole team take it?

When a team wants to go further, we run Everything DiSC sessions where everyone completes the full profile in advance and the team goes through the results together.
